Open Systems rolled out 3,650 additional remote connections in a week

CLAAS, a global agricultural machinery manufacturer with over 11,400 employees, needed to enable 3,650 additional remote connections within one week across 165 locations on three continents when the pandemic began. To secure seamless access to internal resources and avoid disruption, CLAAS turned to Open Systems and its Managed SASE solution (SD‑WAN, Firewall, SWG, CASB, ZTNA) to replace the in‑house VPN.

Open Systems deployed virtual Mobile Entry Points and rolled out 3,650 concurrent secure connections in exactly one week, with 24x7 monitoring and operations via Mission Control. The Managed SASE rollout transformed CLAAS’s edge architecture—making it more agile, extendable and secure—was completed in about ten workdays, enabled management of 165 SD‑WAN locations by a small team, and freed CLAAS IT to focus on other projects.
