The College of Southern Nevada faced an urgent security challenge when COVID-19 forced 37,000+ students and 2,500+ faculty and staff to access systems remotely: a surge in unsecured endpoints, a fragmented DIY security stack that was costly and hard to manage, and difficulty hiring and retaining security staff. To solve this, the College of Southern Nevada engaged Open Systems for a unified SASE solution including secure SD‑WAN and MDR, integrated with Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
