MSI's gamification-based loyalty program drives engagement with tiered rewards

MSI, a global leader in gaming hardware, wanted to strengthen long-term customer relationships, drive cross-sell and up-sell, and build a more engaged gaming community through a modern loyalty program. To support this, MSI selected Open Loyalty and its flexible loyalty engine to replace legacy technology with a scalable, API-based, headless solution that could operate across multiple countries and support direct communication with end customers.

Open Loyalty helped MSI launch the MSI Rewards Program in just three months, connecting the loyalty platform to MSI’s backend systems and customer portal. The result was a centralized, multi-tenant loyalty application running in 10 key countries, with full data ownership on in-house servers, tiered rewards, referrals, and gamified earning/redemption flows that improved engagement and supported ongoing customer retention efforts.
