Drop Tank, a US leader in fuel and convenience store loyalty solutions, needed a more flexible loyalty engine that could scale across a growing partner base, support multitenancy, and coexist with its existing Oracle Cloud/database environment. After struggling with previous SaaS loyalty products that limited its control and growth, the company chose Open Loyalty as the foundation for its next-generation loyalty platform.

Open Loyalty implemented a cloud-based, Kubernetes-powered solution tailored to Drop Tank’s architecture, adding multitenancy and integrating alongside Oracle databases while supporting custom features like extended customer profiles, time zone handling, and fraud detection. The result gave Drop Tank full autonomy to customize its loyalty engine and a scalable system designed to handle more than 300,000 transactions per day, helping the company better serve major fuel brands.
