How Rowad shortens the time to purchase and increases purchase frequency in ecommerce

Ekuep, the largest online restaurant and cafe equipment supplier in the GCC, wanted to improve the shopping experience for its ecommerce and digital marketplace customers. The team aimed to shorten the time to first purchase and increase purchase frequency by creating a more personalized, rewarding experience for returning customers. To support this, Ekuep worked with Open Loyalty to launch its exclusive loyalty program, Rowad.

Using Open Loyalty, Ekuep implemented a points-based loyalty program with coupons, rewards, campaigns, and custom events, allowing members to earn points on purchases and redeem them for discounts or selected benefits. The results included 13.4% of users completing their business profile, 20.18% making a purchase within six months of completion, and high redemption activity across direct points, coupons, and combined redemptions. Open Loyalty also helped Ekuep observe improvements in time to second purchase and basket value.
