Projektengagemang AB, one of Europe’s fastest-growing engineering firms with 38 subsidiaries, needed a more accurate way to understand software usage and allocate IT costs fairly across its business units. Open iT helped the company address the challenge of charging subsidiaries based on true application usage rather than simple user counts, using LicenseAnalyzer2020 Level 1 to improve visibility into usage of tools such as Autodesk, SolidWorks, MagiCad, and PTC applications.

Open iT implemented LicenseAnalyzer2020 Level 1 with Base Enterprise and expanded it to 10 license servers in Sweden, enabling detailed quarterly chargeback invoices by user and cost center, usage simulations, and reporting across 15 applications. As a result, Projektengagemang AB identified previously undercharged subsidiaries, introduced a fairer and more effective chargeback process, and gained stronger accountability and control over IT spending.
