Interrailing Packages, a UK and Ireland-based ABTOT licensed tour operator, wanted to make its interrail trips easier and more accessible for travellers while reducing the hassle of printing, posting, and emailing increasingly large travel packs. As the company’s packages grew, its “E-Travel Pack” became unwieldy and customers needed a simpler way to access itineraries, accommodation details, maps, and travel information on the go. Open Destinations provided the Tineri app to support this shift to digital trip documentation.
Open Destinations implemented Tineri so Interrailing Packages could use templates for set packages, add custom itinerary information, and give travellers everything in one place, including offline access, maps, accommodation details, and chat functionality. The result was improved accessibility for customers, especially the company’s 20–30 age group, and strong success for the app’s offline mode. Interrailing Packages also reported that Open Destinations was highly professional, responsive within hours, and open to feedback that helped shape future improvements.
