A OP5 Case Study

Preview of the Norwegian People’s Aid Case Study

IT Monitoring Absolutely Critical for Norwegian People’s Aid

Norwegian People’s Aid, an independent humanitarian organization with a complex IT infrastructure spanning over 30 countries, faced the challenge of monitoring its diverse and geographically dispersed network. With offices in locations from urban cities to rural Africa, the organization needed a unified solution to get a comprehensive overview and detect IT issues before they caused critical service outages. They selected the OP5 Monitor solution from vendor OP5 to meet this need.

The solution implemented by OP5 provided a single dashboard for complete visibility, allowing staff to monitor servers, network devices, and applications. This enabled Norwegian People’s Aid to proactively address problems, such as avoiding a financial system crash from a failed backup and resolving a CPU issue caused by a Microsoft patch. The vendor OP5 delivered significant time savings and a fast implementation. The organization now plans to expand its use of OP5 Monitor to include even more devices and offices.
