The Pew Charitable Trusts launches a story-led policy resource in MVP timeline with Oomph

The Pew Charitable Trusts faced the challenge of creating a unique, immersive website to serve as a central hub for its scientific research resources, aiming to make complex public policy topics approachable for government officials. They engaged the vendor, Oomph, to build this interactive policy resource, known as The Lab Manual, which required an engaging experience that could grow over time.

Oomph designed and developed a dynamic, story-led website featuring custom tools like an interactive Mapbox map and an integrated glossary to make content digestible. Using a CMS-less solution built with Markdown for simplified content management, Oomph delivered a minimum viable product that won a GDUSA Digital Design Award. The solution successfully brought The Lab Manual's vision to life, providing a practical resource for evidence-based policy creation.
