American Foundation for Suicide Prevention launches a data-driven microsite in 12 weeks with Oomph

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, alongside two partner organizations, faced the challenge of transforming eight years of complex survey data on public perceptions of mental health into an accessible and actionable resource for both professionals and the general public. They partnered with digital consultancy Oomph to build a microsite that would effectively visualize this data and advocate for change.

Oomph designed and developed an e-learning style microsite, "Suicide Prevention Now," which organized the data into four distinct, color-coded chapters for easy navigation. The solution, built with React and Gatsby, provided clear data visualization, shareable resources, and a direct call to action. The project was completed in twelve weeks and has since earned Oomph and the client industry awards for design and digital health, successfully creating a tool for ongoing public education and advocacy.
