Aux Sable, a North American midstream gas processing and natural gas liquids company, needed to modernize a loosely organized and outdated backup/disaster recovery strategy. With a lean IT team, cumbersome offsite tape handling, and the need to protect critical Exchange email, the company turned to OnX Enterprise Solutions for help with backup and DR.

OnX Enterprise Solutions implemented a custom backup and disaster recovery solution using CommVault Simpana, policy-driven backups to an OnX virtualized cloud environment, and near-real-time “hot site” replication for Exchange email. The result was reduced risk, minimal downtime, and 24x7 access to data and applications for recovery, with email recovery meeting a one-hour-or-less RTO target.
