Global Food Manufacturer Enlists OnX for a Network Security Upgrade to Minimize Potential Risks

Global Food Manufacturing Company partnered with OnX Enterprise Solutions after realizing its 24x7 network operations had only limited daytime security support. With more than 100 sites worldwide, multiple FortiGate and FortiOS versions in use, and a need for more robust firewall software, the company needed a cost-effective way to improve security visibility, alerting, and around-the-clock threat response.

OnX Enterprise Solutions delivered a vendor-agnostic security upgrade that included an online support portal, FortiOS upgrades and device onboarding, migration to Cisco ASA firewall technology, and enhanced SIEM-based monitoring and logging. The project was completed in 90 days, and within six months 77% of support tickets were submitted through the portal, 99% of security devices were standardized on FortiOS 5.0.1, and about 40 vulnerable machines were identified and addressed, significantly improving visibility and reducing security risk.
