DIALOG, a multi‑disciplinary architecture and engineering firm operating across Canada and the US, faced rising complexity in tracking project documentation, RFIs and response times across many teams and projects. DIALOG uses Onware’s Contract Administration construction collaboration software but needed dashboards and automated reports to monitor active items, document aging, turnaround times and to deliver Principals a concise weekly project overview.
Onware connected its database to Tableau and delivered five dashboard modules (Active Items, Change Management, Performance Report, Project Stats and Submittal Tracking), plus an automated Friday PDF report-card emailed to Principals. The Onware solution links dashboards to live documents, tracks millions of construction and design records, reveals process gaps and slow responses, and provides consultant scorecards—improving visibility, decision‑making and reducing risks of delays and budget overruns for DIALOG.
