IBI Group acted as Prime Consultant and Contract Administrator for the CASA Centre Redevelopment (completed in 2016) and needed a centralized way to keep all stakeholders aligned on contract administration tasks—tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress claims and certificates. For this they used Onware (implemented as IBI‑CATrax.com) to address document control, aging of outstanding items, and ensure everyone was working toward the project’s end goal.
Onware was implemented to identify outstanding documents, show whose court they were in and how long they had been outstanding, and to streamline progress claim review and issuance of Certificates for Payment with real‑time value edits, electronic issuance and full audit trails. The Onware solution also allowed project‑specific customization (including an integrated electronic O&M manual), improving transparency, speeding up claims and document workflows, and giving IBI Group clearer control and accountability throughout the project.
