Onware helps YYC Airport with Construction Contract Administration Tracking and Reporting

YYC Calgary International Airport faced the challenge of managing a $2 billion Airport Development Program (ADP) that included the Runway Development Project and a New International Terminal adding roughly two million square feet, 24 new gates and doubling the terminal size. To coordinate multiple stakeholders (EllisDon, DIALOG and the YYC Calgary Airport Authority) and keep CA documentation and reporting under control, project teams adopted Onware’s software for contract administration, tracking and reporting.

Onware’s platform was used by the project manager and construction teams to centralize CA work, streamline tracking and produce consistent reports across the large-scale program. By supporting delivery of the ADP (completed in 2015) Onware helped YYC manage one of Alberta’s largest construction efforts—two million square feet of new space, 24 new gates, thousands of crew hours (over 11.4 million) and sustainability features that are expected to save about 26,000 tonnes of CO2 annually—by providing reliable tracking and reporting throughout the project.
