SCHOTT AG, a leading international technology group in special glass and glass ceramics, partnered with the vendor Onventis. The company sought to optimize its procurement process, particularly for long-tail spend, while maintaining strict cost control and compliance with buying policies across its 26 international locations.

The solution implemented was the Onventis e-procurement platform integrated with Amazon Punch-in. This allowed SCHOTT users to start purchases on Amazon Business and seamlessly transfer their shopping carts into Onventis for approval and reconciliation. As a result, Onventis helped SCHOTT enhance the user experience and improve policy compliance. The roll-out began successfully in the USA, with plans to expand to other countries including Germany.
