Case study describing how Natural Resources Canada used Ontotext
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) seeks to enhance the responsible development and use of Canada’s natural resources. Through the use of GraphDB™ NRCan plans to move their RDBMS static file based mediation database, which allows querying heterogeneous databases (schematic and semantic), to a RDF store that provides reasoning. Speed is the primary consideration in the project, due to the fact that the translation involves a significant amount of vocabulary conversion.
