OnSolve CodeRED Effectively Bridges Multiple 911 Call Centers

Arapahoe County’s E911 Emergency Communication Service Authority — which serves more than 288,000 residents across 712 square miles and six 911 call centers — was experiencing intermittent failures with its ArapAlert emergency notifications and the prior vendor could not explain why messages weren’t reaching subscribers. After issuing a request for proposals, the authority selected OnSolve’s CodeRED to replace the problematic system.

OnSolve implemented CodeRED’s web‑based, IPAWS‑integrated alerting platform with geo‑targeting and multi‑channel delivery (voice, text, email, social, WEA/EAS/NOAA). Since the switch to OnSolve CodeRED, ArapAlert messages have been delivered reliably without interruption, customer support has improved, and the system now lets any of the six PSAPs launch notifications for one another to coordinate evacuations and other multi‑jurisdictional alerts.
