Emergency alert aids in recovery of elderly man in Plymouth County, MA
Plymouth County, Massachusetts faced an urgent search for a missing 76-year-old man with dementia and, at the request of the Taunton Police Department, turned to OnSolve’s CodeRED emergency notification system to help locate him quickly.
Using OnSolve’s CodeRED high-speed mass notification tool and CodeRED Mobile Alert app, Plymouth County geo-targeted a 5-mile area to reach about 33,000 residents via phone calls, emails and push notifications, and reached more than 130 people through the app’s GPS targeting; within 15 minutes a resident reported a matching person and police were able to reunite him safely with his family.
