St. John Baptist Church, an Orlando congregation of more than 1,000 founded in 1924, faced persistent communication challenges—especially reaching older, “shut in” members—using a rudimentary phone‑tree system. To improve mass outreach and reduce miscommunication, the church adopted One Call Now, the mass‑notification service powered by OnSolve.
Funded by a two‑year grant, St. John Baptist Church implemented One Call Now and now uses the service several times each month to deliver voicemail alerts for weather, cancellations, prayer requests, emergencies and targeted leadership messages. OnSolve’s solution has fully replaced the phone tree, improved engagement with 65+ members, enabled larger community events and partnerships with local officials, and strengthened overall outreach across the congregation.
