University Grenoble Alpes supports 60,000 students with ONLYOFFICE

The University Grenoble Alpes, a large institution with 60,000 students and 7,500 staff, faced a challenge in facilitating efficient document management and real-time collaboration across its 12 sites following a merger. They required an on-premises office suite solution that could integrate with their existing platforms, ensure high compatibility and data security, and be accessible to all users. After a comparative study, they selected the ONLYOFFICE Enterprise Edition.

ONLYOFFICE implemented its self-hosted solution, which was integrated with the university's Alfresco, Moodle, and Chamilo platforms. This enabled real-time co-editing and streamlined workflows for creating teaching materials, research papers, and administrative documents. The solution was successfully adopted by 1,000 active users, providing a fluid user experience and enabling remote collaboration that maintained productivity, especially during the pandemic.
