Case Study: University of Grenoble Alpes improves document collaboration with ONLYOFFICE

ONLYOFFICE a reliable tool to ensure document management and collaboration in the University Grenoble Alpes

The University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA), a large higher-education institution with 60,000 students and 7,500 staff, needed a secure and efficient way to support document exchange and collaboration across newly unified academic and research teams. To meet these needs, the university turned to ONLYOFFICE Docs for document management and editing, with compatibility, integration with existing platforms, worldwide access, on-premises deployment, and cost all being key requirements.

ONLYOFFICE implemented online editors integrated with the university’s existing systems, including Alfresco, Moodle, and Chamilo, enabling students and staff to co-author documents, share materials, and collaborate remotely inside the platforms they already use. The result has been a smoother workflow and better productivity, with around 1,000 active users in the first year out of a potential 22,000, and UGA reporting that ONLYOFFICE provides a fluid user experience, smooth deployment, and responsive technical support.
