Case Study: IVZ achieves seamless online document collaboration with ONLYOFFICE

How Germany’s public radio and television deployed Nextcloud and ONLYOFFICE

IVZ, the shared services organization for Germany’s public broadcasting stations, needed a reliable way to support efficient file exchange and collaborative document work across a large public media network. To meet that challenge, IVZ used ONLYOFFICE alongside Nextcloud for its ARD-ZDF-Box platform, serving more than 8,000 users.

ONLYOFFICE implemented online document co-authoring for IVZ, connected to two application servers, each handling up to 200 concurrent connections. The solution enabled built-in collaborative editing and chat, improved user satisfaction, and made migration easier thanks to an interface similar to Microsoft Office, while supporting growing usage across the organization.
