How Czech TV replaced Google Docs and MS Office with ONLYOFFICE and ownCloud

Czech TV, the public television broadcaster in the Czech Republic, needed a way to edit documents online on its ownCloud server. After testing alternatives, the team chose ONLYOFFICE Docs, provided through Czech partner Denevy, because it was more stable and user-friendly than Collabora.

ONLYOFFICE implemented browser-based document editing connected to ownCloud for more than 100 employees, helping Czech TV support collaborative editing, track changes, and use mobile apps across devices. The broadcaster also expects to partially reduce its Google subscription and move users who do not need full Microsoft Office functionality to ONLYOFFICE, while Czech TV says it would recommend the solution to others.
