Collège-Lycée Sacré Cœur de Taravao, a Catholic school in Tahiti, wanted to provide digital equality for its 1,500 students despite poor internet access, mixed devices, and strict requirements for open-source, GDPR-compliant software that could be hosted on the school’s own server. To support homework and group projects, the school turned to ONLYOFFICE alongside Moodle and its broader open-source stack.

ONLYOFFICE integrated successfully with Moodle and Nextcloud, giving students and teachers browser-based editing for .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files on any device without needing local software. The solution improved collaboration, reduced format-conversion issues, saved teachers time, and made it easier to manage shared work, with the school highlighting stronger process organization and “digital equality” for students.
