TIMS Medical, a division of Foresight Imaging, faced the challenge of designing a compact, high-performance, and quiet computing system to serve as the core for its TIMS Consultant medical video broadcast network. They needed a solution that could connect directly to a variety of hospital equipment, accommodate a demanding video capture card, and operate reliably in mission-critical settings, all while maintaining a small physical footprint. OnLogic designed a custom chassis and cooling solution that met TIMS Medical's stringent requirements for size, performance, and silence. The solution incorporated specific I/O and branding, and its design helped TIMS Medical achieve crucial IEC 60601-1 compliance for medical equipment.
