Datacadabra deploys MowHawk with OnLogic in under a year

Datacadabra, a company focused on sustainable roadside management, faced the challenge of innovating their MowHawk Smart Mower Vision System. They needed an extremely rugged and customizable computer to power the system, which would be mounted on mowers and exposed to significant vibration and impact forces. The vendor, OnLogic, provided the Karbon 700 Series rugged computer to meet this need.

The solution implemented by OnLogic was the Karbon 700-SE, which serves as the core of the MowHawk system. It processes video input in real time, collects tracking data, and communicates information to the cloud. Because of the robustness of the OnLogic system, Datacadabra successfully developed and deployed their prototype within a year and began marketing the system. The MowHawk is now used by the Dutch regional government to help achieve their nature-inclusive goals, creating a more sustainable environment by improving biodiversity and the circular use of grass clippings.
