Sovereign Health Group - Customer Case Study

Sovereign Health Group, a behavioral health provider experiencing rapid growth, needed a more reliable and scalable way to manage multiple WordPress sites used by staff, clinicians, and families. They turned to Onica for help implementing AWS services, including Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) and Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR), to support both their current web infrastructure and future data needs.

Onica consolidated Sovereign Health Group’s websites onto AWS EFS to improve sharing across servers, simplify management, and reduce reliance on on-premises storage. Looking ahead, Onica also designed an EMR-based workflow for genome sequencing that would send lab data to AWS for compute power and return results locally, helping the customer avoid buying more onsite servers or VMs while gaining the flexibility to scale as the business grows.
