Skyline Urology, the largest urologic practice in California, needed a better way to centralize patient records and support its Electronic Health Records system, UroChart, across 25 practices. With disparate on-premises servers, uneven performance, and more than 3 million patient files to secure under HIPAA requirements, the practice turned to Onica for cloud migration help.

Onica migrated UroChart to AWS, provisioned the infrastructure, moved the data securely, and built a Microsoft Remote Application Publishing solution for access. The new AWS architecture improved availability and security, reduced the need for a costly $100,000 upfront non-cloud investment, and Onica now provides ongoing AWS Managed Services to keep the environment running 24/7.
