Replatforming NET Applications on AWS
Timmons Group, a multi-disciplined engineering and technology firm, needed help replatforming its on-premises .NET applications and SQL databases for the cloud. Onica worked with the customer to design a new AWS infrastructure and support the migration of its applications and data to AWS.
Onica implemented the solution using AWS CloudFormation, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon RDS with Microsoft SQL Server 2016, and CloudWatch, along with a CI/CD pipeline and automated backup strategy. As a result, Timmons Group’s applications were fully replatformed on AWS, gaining improved flexibility, lower costs, reliability, scalability, performance, security, and easier deployments through automation.
