eTurns, a cloud-based inventory management software provider, needed to move away from a hosted CenturyLink environment that lacked redundancy, resilience, and high availability. Vendor Onica engaged with eTurns through the AWS Mid-Market Territory Accelerate Program to architect and migrate the company’s system to AWS.

Onica deployed eTurns on AWS with a highly available web tier on Amazon EC2, load balancing and auto-scaling, a mirrored SQL Server database across multiple Availability Zones, highly available domain controllers, and monitoring via DataDog. The migration was completed in just a few days after the initial consultation, improving reliability, scalability, and backup/failover readiness while giving eTurns an ongoing managed services relationship for support.
