Scrive, a trusted eSignature and document management provider, needed a secure way to verify customers globally because most countries lack national eID schemes while its users do business worldwide. To solve this gap, Scrive partnered with Onfido and integrated Onfido’s AI-powered online identity verification into its offering.

Onfido’s solution—now available in Scrive eSign and the eID Hub—lets users verify identity by uploading a photo of a government ID and a selfie; Onfido checks ID authenticity and matches faces, supporting over 4,500 document types across 195 countries. The integration gives Scrive and its customers virtually global coverage, faster remote onboarding, stronger fraud detection and expanded market reach thanks to Onfido’s verification capabilities.
