P&V group accelerates success with a state-of-the-art CIAM solution

P&V Group, a Belgian insurer operating three brands (P&V Insurances, VIVIUM and Actel) with around 1,550 employees and a network of 380 independent agents and brokers, needed a secure, user‑friendly customer portal to support the market’s shift to online self‑service while preserving broker-led advice. To provide 24/7 access, multiple login options and strong identity checks in line with Belgian/EU regulations, P&V selected Thales OneWelcome to deliver a Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solution (IDaaS/CIAM SaaS) with eID support.

Thales OneWelcome implemented a configurable CIAM SaaS integrating Belgium’s eID schemes (itsme), SMS TAN 2FA and capabilities such as e‑signing, mobile app security, ID proofing and KYC. The portal now gives customers secure, round‑the‑clock access to documents and intermediaries, reduces brokers’ administrative work and streamlines workflows, lowers costs and the environmental footprint by cutting paper use, and improves user experience and regulatory compliance.
