OHRA, one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands, sought a new Consumer IAM solution to simplify its registration and login processes, in line with its brand promise of eliminating unnecessary hassle. The company needed to move away from a slow, batch-oriented registration system and implement a more secure, frictionless onboarding experience for its 600,000 customers. They partnered with the vendor Thales OneWelcome to address these challenges.
The solution from Thales OneWelcome provided a streamlined registration flow with minimal required attributes and the option for a step-up process using the iDIN bank verification system for higher-risk products. The implementation included Single Sign-On for a unified customer journey and an SDK for improved in-app authentication. As a result, Thales OneWelcome helped OHRA fully automate its customer registration process, significantly improve its digital verification, and ultimately create a smoother, more secure experience for its users.
