Helvetia, a Swiss insurance group operating in six countries with two brands, needed a secure, scalable way to give 7,000 employees and up to 5 million customers seamless access to its digital portals as part of a broad digital transformation. To meet strict European data and security requirements (GDPR), social login preferences and support for SSO, identity proofing and multi‑factor authentication, Helvetia selected Thales OneWelcome’s Identity & Access Management (IDaaS) solution.

Thales OneWelcome implemented a hybrid IAM deployment—integrating its IDaaS with Helvetia’s on‑premises IAM and two external SaaS platforms—in under four months with a dedicated project team.
