NucleusHealth deployed Vormetric Transparent Encryption with centralized key management and role-based access controls, delivered by Thales OneWelcome, to provide transparent encryption, FIPS-validated key storage, granular audit trails, and automated reporting and policy enforcement. The Thales OneWelcome solution prevented unauthorized root access, enabled use of the free open-source MongoDB (reducing licensing costs), and scaled to petabyte volumes—allowing a full rollout that met compliance needs and preserved performance for fast, secure clinical collaboration.
