A Onetwosix Design Case Study

Preview of the Stumpy Co Case Study

Stumpy Co brings campsite product to final prototype with Onetwosix Design across Canada and the U.S.

Stumpy Co, a startup founded by Korey Haun, had an innovative idea for a multipurpose outdoor product but lacked the expertise in product design, engineering, and manufacturing to bring it to life. Their challenge was to turn a rough concept and homemade model into a commercially viable and manufacturable product. They engaged Onetwosix Design for its comprehensive product development services to overcome this hurdle.

Onetwosix Design implemented a collaborative process that integrated industrial design, engineering, and manufacturing strategy from the very beginning. This approach allowed them to refine the product through prototyping, identify and solve potential manufacturing challenges early, and simultaneously develop the Stumpy brand. The solution resulted in a refined, manufacturable final prototype that is now approaching real-world testing, securing patents, and preparing for commercialization, turning an idea that was nearly abandoned into a viable product.
