Match Group, the global owner of dating brands like Tinder, Match and Hinge, needed to maintain user trust while complying with evolving privacy rules (GDPR, CCPA, IAB TCF 2.0) across dozens of websites and languages. To manage consent and cookie requirements at scale and ensure consistent privacy practices, Match Group engaged OneTrust and deployed products including PreferenceChoice CMP for Publishers along with Assessment Automation, Data Mapping and Third-Party Risk Management.
OneTrust implemented an integrated privacy and GRC platform—using its CMP, automated assessments, data mapping and third‑party risk modules—to capture consent, automate vendor vetting and keep processing records current. The OneTrust solution sped up site deployments (Match Group reports deploying the same number of websites much faster), improved compliance with IAB guidelines and laws, and created a culture of accountability by giving vendors and employees direct access to custom questionnaires and tools.
