How OneTrust became a central component of compliance and security ecosystem of MSX International

MSX International, a global enterprise BPO serving automotive manufacturers, faced mounting regulatory and security demands from GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, ISO 27001 and NIST across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. To replace fragmented spreadsheets and disparate systems and to centralize compliance and security workflows, MSX selected OneTrust and initially deployed the OneTrust Data Mapping solution along with modules for Data Subject Request, Incident Management, Vendor Risk Management, Maturity & Planning and Cookie Compliance.

OneTrust was rolled out company-wide starting in 2018—MSX uploaded more than 1,800 processing activities and 700 people into Data Mapping—and expanded to DSAR handling, incident templates and automated assessments, vendor self-service, compliance dashboards and cookie validation for M&A. The OneTrust platform became a central component of MSX’s compliance ecosystem, enabling time‑bound DSAR responses, automated incident alarms, clearer audit-ready dashboards and reduced vendor ticketing, giving MSX a holistic, measurable improvement in governance and operational control.
