EOLO Creates a Privacy-Centric Brand with OneTrust

EOLO SpA, an Italian telecommunications operator serving 200,000 active customers across 6,000+ municipalities, faced the need to scale a robust, privacy-centric program to meet GDPR and ePrivacy requirements while managing large volumes of customer and network traffic data. EOLO selected OneTrust for its modular, global platform—deploying Data Mapping Automation, Cookie Consent, OneTrust DataGuidance and Assessment Automation—to enable Privacy by Design, cross-department questionnaires, and role-based controls that fit a complex enterprise environment.

OneTrust implemented a connected privacy stack—Assessment Automation for PIAs/DPIAs, Cookie Consent, DataGuidance and integrated workflows—allowing EOLO to create 15 privacy champions, centralize request handling via the intranet, automate identity verification and produce auditable, quarterly reports of all privacy activities. The OneTrust solution has improved accountability and GDPR compliance, streamlined collaboration across departments, and EOLO has expanded use of the platform (adding Awareness Training and evaluating Third-Party Risk Management) following successful OneTrust onboarding and health checks.
