Deloitte and OneTrust Partner to Bring a Touch of Luxury to Cosmetics Company’s Privacy Program

Deloitte worked with a Dutch luxury cosmetics client to overhaul and streamline their privacy program and achieve GDPR compliance, but found the client’s existing privacy management tool too rigid and lacking in customization. To address this challenge, Deloitte selected OneTrust and its Assessment Automation and Data Mapping modules to provide the flexibility and functionality needed to better manage records of processing activities and data protection processes.

OneTrust delivered Assessment Automation and Data Mapping capabilities that Deloitte implemented and customized—using OneTrust’s assessment templates and bespoke DPIA workflows—to build a clear ROPA, automate DPIAs and populate a risk register. The solution was deployed in three months, accompanied by training and knowledge materials, and resulted in a more sustainable, scalable privacy organization that can grow with the business while supporting ongoing GDPR compliance.
