Zayo Group, a global communications infrastructure provider built largely through acquisitions, faced a fragmented finance landscape of seven disparate systems (including Prophix, FloQast, Oracle EBS, Workday, Salesforce and large Excel models). That complexity hindered timely reporting, version control, close processes and integration of new entities—prompting a need for a scalable CPM solution that would automate manual work and improve forecasting and close velocity.

Working with Archetype, Zayo implemented OneStream in a four‑month rollout to replace multiple point solutions and directly connect to Workday, Oracle EBS and Salesforce. OneStream provided separate cubes for consolidations, forecasts and vendor detail, automated FX, intercompany and allocation processes, and delivered Task Manager and People Planning capabilities. The result was a single source of truth with faster, more detailed reporting, a five‑quarter rolling forecast, elimination of large Excel models, reduced month‑end effort and improved expense forecasting by vendor, location, product group and currency.
