West Bend Mutual Insurance (WBMI), a Midwest property/casualty insurer founded in 1894, faced a labor‑intensive, error‑prone month‑end close driven by fragmented Excel spreadsheets and a multi‑tier allocation process that lacked transparency and consistent performance.
