Valeo Foods, a Dublin-based consumer foods group with 68 brands and €870M in sales across 92 markets, had rapidly grown through acquisitions but was still using Excel for month-end close and consolidation. Disparate local spreadsheets, manual currency translations and a ballooning consolidated model made reporting cumbersome, error-prone and unsustainable, prompting the search for a modern, scalable CPM solution.

Valeo selected OneStream with implementation support from AMCO and deployed a phased roadmap beginning with financial close and consolidation, adding intercompany visibility and a “cross-selling” channel. The rollout eliminated about 30 spreadsheets, shortened the monthly close by three to four days, improved data quality and reporting transparency, and created a single version of the truth while paving the way for KPI reporting and driver-based forecasting.
