Reunert Limited, a South African industrial group with more than 10 billion ZAR in revenue and 6,600+ employees, faced mounting finance complexity from multiple GL/ERP systems and an aging SAP BPC (2008) platform. The legacy solution was costly to maintain, relied heavily on Excel, lacked sub-consolidation, required a dedicated third‑party admin, and forced slow, manual intercompany reconciliations and consolidations — with an upgrade estimated at $4M and up to three years.

After an RFP, Reunert chose OneStream (implemented with partner Inplenion) in a staged rollout for consolidation, reporting, budgeting and forecasting across 80 legal entities, six currencies and 128 users. The project completed consolidation in about 10 months and budgeting went live July 2019. Results include monthly intercompany eliminations done in one day, group consolidation cut from 12 to seven working days, faster management reporting, unified actuals and budgets with accurate eliminations, and improved visibility and drill‑down into submissions.
