Quala is a Panamanian food and beverage company with more than 30 brands, operations in 12 Latin American countries, over 10,000 employees, 1M direct customers and 300M+ consumers. Its Corporate FP&A team was struggling with manual consolidation from three ERPs and 12 charts of accounts, heavy reliance on Excel (1,300 spreadsheets), limited visibility into SKU-level profitability, multi‑currency intercompany eliminations and a lengthy 10‑day close process.

Working with Outliers Consulting, Quala implemented OneStream in three phases—financial close and consolidation, profitability tracking and FP&A autonomy—automating consolidation for 11 countries and five currencies and enabling SKU-, unit- and geography-level profitability analysis. The result: close time dropped to three days, spreadsheets were reduced from ~1,300 to ~100, reporting and dashboards are automated and 100% auditable, and executives gain faster, more accurate visibility for strategic decision‑making.
