Lindsay Corporation, an Omaha‑based global manufacturer and distributor of irrigation and infrastructure equipment, was struggling with month‑end close, consolidation and planning processes that relied on Excel and multiple Microsoft Dynamics Navision ledgers. Manual data manipulation across business units, multiple charts of accounts and currencies meant the monthly close and forecast cycles took about two weeks, limiting management visibility and leaving BU controllers little time for analysis.

Lindsay implemented OneStream Cloud’s unified CPM platform to consolidate data from 20 GLs in eight currencies and to support budgeting and forecasting; the initial implementation completed in six months with three months of parallel testing and went live in September 2017. The change shifted intercompany reconciliations to BUs, reduced IT overhead, improved SOX controls and operational visibility, shortened the monthly close to day five (≈25% faster), and saved at least two days per month on forecasting—freeing finance teams for higher‑value analysis.
