Flow Traders, a publicly listed principal trading firm that provides liquidity in exchange-traded products worldwide, faced growing finance complexity after rapid expansion and its 2015 IPO. The team relied on error-prone, consolidated Excel files and manual FX adjustments, spending excessive time validating numbers and lacking a single source of truth for reporting.

Working with implementation partner Sonum/Finext, Flow Traders deployed OneStream’s CPM platform for financial consolidation, FX calculations and data quality management. The project delivered faster, more reliable reporting, improved data quality and transparency, reduced manual effort and freed the finance team to focus on controlling — with plans to extend OneStream for audit packs, KPI linkage and automated reporting.
