Federal-Mogul, a global supplier of automotive and industrial parts, faced a legacy Hyperion system that couldn’t scale or provide the operational detail they needed. The old solution required heavy manual intervention for financial and operational data collection, had limited dimensionality, and constrained intercompany eliminations, reporting and HR alignment—prompting the search for a modern, unified CPM platform.

OneStream delivered a single finance platform that expanded reporting dimensionality (from 4 to 17), added Guided Workflows for 800 users, an HR cube, automated approval emails and an audit trail, and built-in variance analysis templates. The result was faster, more detailed management and financial reporting, streamlined intercompany reconciliations, improved controls and visibility, and a reduction in the close process by three to four days, with further plans to extend planning and reconciliation capabilities.
