CHG Healthcare, founded in 1979 and the largest physician‑staffing firm in the U.S., was hindered by a manually intensive monthly rolling forecast and people‑planning process. Finance exported payroll from JD Edwards, used Oracle Smart View to pull data from HFM, created and emailed more than 150 Excel templates, and repeatedly reworked files to correct errors — a fragmented approach that was slow, error‑prone and raised payroll security concerns.

After evaluating more than ten vendors, CHG implemented OneStream’s unified CPM platform, connecting JD Edwards and their GL and deploying People Planning from the OneStream Marketplace. Guided workflows and dashboards removed spreadsheets and process emails, providing immediate data visibility, audit trails and role‑specific steps.
